Individual Applications for AmeriCorps Fellowships
Interested candidates must apply directly to Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps host sites, which oversee the recruitment of their AmeriCorps Fellows each year. Equal Justice Works does not dictate the selection of AmeriCorps Fellows.
In order to apply, please review the project descriptions posted in the forum. Send the requested application materials to each project site where you are interested in serving. You may apply to more than one site. Please read the descriptions carefully, as individual site application procedures may vary.

Current and Potential AmeriCorps Fellow Host Sites
Equal Justice Works invites legal service agencies, bar foundations and pro bono organizations to host and support at least two AmeriCorps Fellowships for the next two (and possibly three) years.
Equal Justice Works accepts Concept Proposals on a rolling basis. Select organizations will be asked to submit full proposals.

AmeriCorps Veterans Initiative
Equal Justice Works has proposed a new AmeriCorps program to the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) with a focus on housing, homelessness and veterans’ services for the 2010-2013 funding cycle. In the first year, Equal Justice Works will request 40 positions for AmeriCorps Legal Fellows to provide legal services addressing issues of poverty. Ten of these Fellowships will be focused on helping homeless veterans overcome barriers to housing and achieve economic stability.
These AmeriCorps Fellows will assist at-risk and homeless veterans remove the barriers to permanent housing that lead to a cycle of poverty and life on the street.
