Public Transportation
The Omni Shoreham Hotel is easily accessible via the Washington, D.C. public transportation system, Metro (www.wmata.com). The Omni Shoreham Hotel is located half a block from the Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan stop on Metro’s red line. As you exit the Metro station via escalator, turn to your right. Turn left onto 24th street and walk south. When you come to the intersection of 24th Street and Calvert Street, the Omni Shoreham Hotel will be across Calvert Street and to the right. Airports
Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) – 34 miles from The Omni Shoreham Hotel.
- Shuttle vans are available from BWI to the hotel at the cost of about $30 for one passenger and $10 per additional passenger.
- A taxi from BWI will cost approximately $85.
- There is a shuttle bus from BWI to the Washington, D.C. Metro system. The B30 bus (also called the BWI Express) runs every 40 minutes from BWI to the Greenbelt Metro stop on Metro’s green line. Board the B30 at BWI. Take the green line train from Greenbelt to either Fort Totten or Gallery Place-Chinatown and transfer to the red line in the direction of Shady Grove/Grosvenor. Take the red line train to the Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan stop. The hotel is half a block from the Metro stop. The total cost will be $7.05 and it will take approximately 90 minutes to get from BWI to the hotel.
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) – 6 miles from The Omni Shoreham Hotel.
- Shuttle vans are available from National Airport at the cost of about $12 for the first passenger and $8 per additional passenger.
- A taxi from National Airport will cost about $20.
- National Airport is serviced by the Washington, D.C. Metro system. Take the yellow line train in the direction of Mt. Vernon Square/Fort Totten. Transfer to the red line in the direction of Shady Grove/Grosvenor at Gallery Place-Chinatown. Take the red line train to the Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan stop. Rail
Amtrak services Washington, D.C. via Union Station, which is located on Capitol Hill, approximately 4 miles from the Omni Shoreham Hotel. Union Station is also the location of a red line Metro stop. The Omni Shoreham Hotel is 6 stops away from Union Station on Metro’s red line. The trip from Union Station to the hotel via Metro will take about 15 minutes and will cost $1.75.
Driving Directions
From the North
Take I-95 South to I-495 West (exit 27). Follow 495 West to exit 33 South (Connecticut Avenue). Travel south approximately 5.5 miles. Turn right onto Calvert Street. The hotel is one block up on the left.
From the South
From I-95 North, merge onto I-395 North via exit 170A. Take I-395 North across the 14th Street Bridge. Merge onto US-1 North via exit on the left. Stay straight to go onto 14th Street. Follow 14th Street to R Street. Turn left onto R Street. Turn right onto Connecticut Avenue. Cross the Taft Bridge. Turn left onto Calvert Street. The hotel is one block up on left.

- Sept. 26 – Registration for the Conference and Career Fair closes. This is the last day to add or cancel registrations in Symplicity. Anyone who wishes to register after this date must do so on-site.
