Equal Justice Works Membership
This last year was extraordinary for our organization and for the causes and communities we serve. We supported 171 lawyers and 350 law students in the field – one of our largest classes ever. We made substantial progress in reducing the educational debt barrier to public service careers with the passage of the College Cost Reduction and Access Act. We launched the second edition of The E-Guide to Public Service at America’s Law Schools. And, just recently, we achieved a long-term goal of expanding our presence on the West Coast by opening an office in San Francisco.
We made more than 33 presentations on law school campuses and in March distributed recruitment materials on Equal Justice Works opportunities for your students. The number of applicants for our Summer Corps program alone broke previous records and came in at over 770. Our Conference and Career Fair last fall was one of our most successful ever and continues to evolve.
All of this is made possible with your support of our mission – to mobilize the next generation of lawyers committed to equal justice – and of our work on campuses, in law firms, and at legal services organizations around the country.

Equal Justice Works gratefully acknowledges our Benefactor-level law school members.
