Emily Berger works with the Transitioning Youth Project (TYP) of the Alliance for Children's Rights in Los Angeles. TYP provides direct legal services to youth in, and transitioning out of, foster care. The provision of direct legal services includes sealing of juvenile records, assistance with clearing credit, identification theft, health care eligibility, sibling visitation for younger siblings still in the foster-care system and education.
